I am a mom of two adult human children, one of which goes to college and still lives at home, and a mom of a 6 year old female Newfoundland, Harley, and of two cats, a 1 year old Persian named Bella, and a female long haired domestic Misty.  I had a son, short haired domestic cat, Bubba, that was my husbands cat, but he passed away unexpectedly at the vet's right before he was due to have surgery.  The vet was in tears when he called to let us know.  But, we had him cremated and brought him home.  We love our animals, they are part of our family.  They are not just animals, they are our children.  I also have a male domestic shorthair cat that is my grandson, his name is Oliver, and belongs to my daughter Brittany who lives at home with us.  He is her baby.  Our children are very spoiled and very well loved!
